Authorities catch baby gator in South Carolina, name it 'Dorian'

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office reminded residents that it wasn't going to tolerate looters, especially during Hurricane Dorian!

On Wednesday night, authorities announced that a baby alligator was caught in Moncks Corner.

Animal Control officers responded to an address off Broughton Road to assist the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources with relocating the little guy.

The alligator, naturally named "Dorian," measured three and a half feet.

He was brought to a safer area.
